You won’t want to miss it! Afterward you’ll drive on to Storm’s River, our home for the next two nights. Along the way we will stop at Bloukrans Bridge, home of the worlds highest bungee bridge jump. Go for an “off the beaten path” hike up Table Mountain, have an amazing picnic waiting for you in the botanical gardens after the hike, take a boat ride out to Robben Island and learn about some recent history while visiting the prison that held Nelson Mandela, walk on the beach with penguins, and explore the rugged peninsula & beaches at Cape Point. The early arrival option includes: transportation for each activity, licensed guided hike at Table Mountain, 2 breakfasts, 1 picnic lunch after the hike, boat ride and tour of Robben Island, visit to the penguin colony, visit to Cape Point, all entry fees, 2 nights stay (private room) at a boutique hotel in Cape Town. Whats not included: 1 lunch, 2 dinners (there are so many options within walking distance and the area is very safe), airport pickup (its hard to beat Uber or local taxis for the short ride to the hotel).

We prioritize unique, family-run accommodation which are often limited in size. Because of this we are unable to offer single rooms for this trip; solo travelers will be placed with a same-sex roommate. If a single room becomes available then we will offer it to those registered.

GROUP SIZE
There will be a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 14 runners. Spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so early deposits are recommended!

Please do NOT make travel arrangements until we notify you that the group size has met the minimum. If for some reason we do not meet the minimum by July 26th then we will refund your deposit in full.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • US citizens will need a passport with at least 30 days of validity remaining beyond your return date; no visas or vaccinations are required for US citizens. Participants from other countries should check with their consulate for entry requirements.

  • Please note that travel insurance is strongly recommended. Although we hope you never need it, we've seen enough to know that it can be a lifesaver in the event of a medical emergency, flight delays that cause you to miss the start of the trip, lost baggage or cancellation on your part (break your leg two weeks before departure? Insurance could cover the entire cost of your trip!).
