Arrive at Cape Town International Airport (CPT) where we will meet you and take you for a short drive to Stellenbosch, in the heart of South Africa's famed Winelands. Take some time to settle in before we get the group together for our welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Then, get some rest – the first run starts tomorrow morning!

DAY 2: WINE COUNTRY
Today kicks off with a leisurely morning breakfast followed by a run on the private trails at one of Stellenbosch’s wineries. You will be rewarded with a picnic lunch and afternoon wine tour & tasting. You’ll have some free time in the afternoon to explore the historic colonial town before sitting down for a wonderful dinner.

DAY 3: THE MOUNTAINS ARE CALLING...
After a light breakfast we’ll pack up and head to a nearby park for an epic run with a dramatic backdrop of jagged mountains. Finish with a picnic lunch, cold beer, and a chance to relax before we travel to Skeiding, where we will spend the night at an ostrich farm. There we’ll kick back with a traditional braai (barbeque) and a good night of sleep!

DAY 4: ALONG THE CLIFFS
Today we head further along the Garden Route, beginning with a short drive to the start of our run in Mossel Bay. The run is an 8 mile / 13km contour trail featuring spectacular cliff top views the entire way – bring a camera! Finish with a picnic lunch and time to relax before continuing our journey on to Plettenberg Bay for the evening.

DAY 5: TRAILS, THEN WHALES!
Did you know that South Africa is one of the best places to see whales? We will start the day with a boat tour to get a close up view of humpback whales, southern right whales, sea lions, and dolphins. After a picnic lunch we will head to Robberg Nature Reserve for an easy hike along some of South Africa’s most stunning, surreal and colorful coastline: picture vibrantly green cliffs rising above a turquoise sea with waves crashing against rocky, bright orange beaches. You won’t want to miss it! Afterward you’ll drive on to Storm’s River, our home for the next two nights. Along the way we will stop at Bloukrans Bridge, home of the worlds highest bungee bridge jump. If this is on your bucket list then we can help arrange a jump!
Running: No run - rest day. Hiking 3-6 mile / 5-10 km (time dependant), technical rocky trail Meals: BLD included *whale-watching will be dependent on weather and migratory conditions, but chances are good!
DAY 6: PLAYTIME IN STORM'S RIVER
Wake up in Storm’s River, the adventure epicenter of the Garden Route, surrounded by Tsitsikamma National Park. We’ll enjoy a cruise-y run along the soft dirt forest paths surrounding the village with stunning lookout spots for those who go far enough! Once everyone has logged their miles and eaten their fill at a big lunch, it’s time to choose your afternoon adventure: possible options include river tubing, kayaking, a canopy tour or simply kicking back at the village microbrewery!

DAY 7: SEAFRONT SCRAMBLE & SAFARI
Wake up early for our final run errr full body recovery run. We will head to the mouth of Storm’s River and run (scramble, hike, boulder hop, run) a short stretch of the famous Otter Trail along the seafront to a breathtaking waterfall that plunges right into the sea. Trust me you wont want to miss this! After breakfast we’ll pack up and head to our final stop of the trip – the Addo Elephant National Park! Addo was created in 1931 as a sanctuary for 11 remaining elephants, and is now home to over 600 of them, along with cape buffalo, lions, zebra and black rhinos. We’ll take an afternoon safari drive in hopes of spotting all of these and more!

DAY 8: DEPARTURE, BUT FIRST...
It may be departure day, but we’ve got one last thing on the schedule – another game drive! This time we’ll head out at sunrise, a prime wildlife spotting time, before returning for breakfast, packing and then a drive to Port Elizabeth airport (PLZ) for departures.
