The ORRC Vernonia Marathon, Half Marathon, and Marathon Relay begin with a gentle descent, guiding runners through a corridor of towering Douglas firs, their bark glistening with morning dew.
The course then reveals the gleaming ribbon of the Nehalem River, winding its way through a landscape that bursts with springtime colors.
As the miles unfurl beneath your pounding feet, you’ll breathe in the crisp, pine-scented air, and marvel at the distant, mist-shrouded peaks of the Coast Range.
Runners can choose between the marathon, half marathon, and marathon relay, each race offering a unique opportunity to experience the wild charm of Banks.
