This nocturnal race unfolds against the backdrop of the magnificent Lake Ohrid, gleaming under the stars and surrounded by towering mountains.
The course is a journey along the lake’s coastline, offering views of the starlit water and nearby hills. As you traverse the well-kept roadways, the ancient city of Pogradec emerges from the darkness, its historic buildings illuminated by the streetlights.
This night race holds a special place in the heart of the local community, embodying the spirit of ‘Enkelana’, a term derived from Albanian mythology representing the moon goddess.
The race offers two distances to meet varying abilities: a half marathon and an 11.5 km run.
