This unique footrace circles beneath the towering shadows of Mount Kenya, delivering an unforgettable encounter with the dramatic African landscape.

The marathon’s course weaves through a breathtaking mosaic of savannahs, woodlands, and wetlands, each teeming with wildlife.

The race begins on the crisp, gravel roads of the conservancy, soon transitioning into uneven, wild trails.

As you navigate the challenging terrain, you’ll pass close to iconic landmarks like the Ngare Ndare River and Craig’s Boma.

The air, heavy with the scent of acacia and wild grasses, fills your lungs as you push through the final stretch, the distant roar of lions echoing in your ears.
