The Don Diablo Trail Run beckons you to the untamed heart of Rancho Cacachilas, BCS, where the desert meets the sea under a vast, cerulean sky. This race will take you through rugged terrain, as you conquer challenging trails and marvel at the beauty of your surroundings.
This trail run is one for the senses, where the scent of desert wildflowers combines with the salty tang of the ocean breeze. As you navigate the course, you’ll traverse the raw landscape of the Cacachilas Mountains, their jagged peaks looming overhead. The trails are a blend of rocky paths and sandy washes, challenging your endurance while offering breathtaking panoramic views. As the sun rises and you take off at a 6am start, the landscape takes on an ethereal glow, casting long shadows and illuminating the flora and fauna of the desert.
The Don Diablo Trail Run, a staple in the local running community since 2016, is deeply rooted in the spirit of Baja California Sur.
Offering 9k, 18k, and 37k distances, the Don Diablo Trail Run is a test of stamina and grit, with the 37k course topping out at an elevation of 1100m.
