This race traces one of the world’s most famous urban paths where temperate rainforest meets the Pacific, and herons fish in the morning light beneath Lion’s Gate Bridge’s towering span.
The fully paved route delivers a greatest-hits tour of Vancouver’s natural splendor: old-growth giants rise from the mist, seals surface in Coal Harbor, and the North Shore Mountains create an snow-capped amphitheater. And yes – there’s chocolate waiting at the finish line below those 1,000-year-old cedars, where Stanley Park has been welcoming runners since Vancouver’s earliest days.
