Found within the heart of Batopilas, the CHIHUAHUA By UTMB takes you to a place where the sheer depth of the ravine rivals that of the Grand Canyon.
The course weaves through the wild terrain, taking runners from the mist-shrouded depths of the canyon to the gleaming sunlit peaks. As runners emerge onto the trail, they will be met by a panorama of towering cliffs, lush forests, and the crashing waves of the Batopilas River. From the ancient ruins of the Lost Cathedral to the vibrant town of Urique, every kilometer of this trail promises an unforgettable sensory experience.
A part of the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) series since 2004, this race has a rich history deeply intertwined with the local Tarahumara culture.
