Surrounded by the expansive greenery of Tangamanga Park, the BMW Tangamanga International Marathon in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, beckons runners with a race backed by the Sierra Madre Oriental mountains.
The race route ebbs and flows through the city’s streets, then winds into the heart of Tangamanga Park, one of the largest urban parks in Mexico. As the kilometers tick by, you’ll navigate both the flat and hilly terrains, passing by the iconic Lago Mayor, the gleaming water surface mirroring the sky’s hues. The scent of pine and eucalyptus trees punctuates the air as you power towards the finish line.
Established in 1985, the BMW Tangamanga International Marathon has grown into a cherished event that draws runners from all corners of the globe.
Runners can choose from the 10km, 21km, or full marathon 42km distance.
