Growing up on a farm in rural Ireland has instilled in me a deep connection with nature and a love of adventure in the outdoors. Surrounded by forests, lakes, mountains and rivers at home I follow any pursuit that gets me out there: running, hiking, camping, biking, kayaking, you name it.
Several years ago I left a job in the corporate engineering world, put a backpack on, and headed off in search of adventure in Central America. Since then, I’ve travelled to over 50 countries, living in several, and working as sports event manager or guide in over 15 of them. Every country is a new story to explore, every place a new memory, every culture a new education.
Running with Rogue Expeditions is the perfect vehicle to keep the education going, and I’m always excited to share the trails ahead with interesting folks in pursuit of their own adventure!
