Incredible experience - hands down, one of the coolest things I have done! From the perfect planning and itineraries, to the local flavor and culture immersions, it was an amazing way to see the country and explore different areas of Ireland. I can’t rave enough about Sean, Ciaran, Lorene, and Lorna - they were truly great guides who graciously answered all of our questions, made us feel welcome and supported, and were a blast to hang out with. The runs were perfectly chosen - there was a great variety to make each one feel special, challenging, and to take in new sights. Keep doing what you are doing, thank you!!

Ireland: Yes, it really is everything that you imagine it to be. This is a land of dramatic coastal cliffs, cozy pubs, crumbling castles, oft-moody weather, astoundingly green hills, rich traditions and warm, hospitable locals that will leave you feeling right at home no matter where you roam.

Our journey begins in Dublin and immediately leaves the big city behind as we head for wild, beautifully desolate Connemara. From there we make our way south, chasing vertigo-inducing views at the Cliffs of Moher, soaking in the famed beauty of the Dingle Peninsula and wandering amongst the country’s biggest mountains in County Kerry. Each day incorporates a new run with new views and new terrain – runners will cruise on quiet country roads, navigate scenic single-track, take on some breathtakingly steep climbs and probably get bogged down in, well, bog, more than a few times!

Meals will be hearty, accommodation will be warm & welcoming and restorative pints of Guinness will always be found in the nearest pub, preparing you for the next big day.

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This trip begins with a meet-up in central Dublin at 1pm on arrival day (we’ll provide detailed instructions for getting there, we recommend you grab a lunch beforehand). Everyone is strongly encouraged to arrive in Dublin at least one day prior, which gives you a chance to explore the city & recover from jet lag and also provides a buffer in case of flight delays; please note that the group will leave for Connemara immediately and that if you miss our departure you will be responsible for getting yourself there. If you choose to fly in that morning then please ensure that you land no later than 10am. This gives a reasonable amount of time to get into the city centre for meet-up.

We will provide transfers to Cork on the final day, arriving in the city by 10:30am. We're happy to get you to the airport, bus station, train station or a hotel, but please ensure that flights depart from Cork no earlier than 12 noon. Those who want to go back to Dublin can easily take a train or bus (from Killarney or Cork), which each take ~3 hours; we'll provide guidance to registered runners!

US citizens will need a passport with at least 3 months of validity left and, beginning in 2023, will also require an ETIAS authorization to enter the EU. The launch date has yet to be confirmed; you can check for the latest here. Participants from other countries should check with their consulate for entry requirements.

Please note that travel insurance is strongly recommended. Although we hope you never need it, we've seen enough to know that it can be a lifesaver in the event of a medical emergency, flight delays that cause you to miss the start of the trip, lost baggage or cancellation on your part.
