Running is more than timing chips and finish lines and medals. Running is a journey, a way of connecting with ourselves and with the world. Come explore with us!

WHAT WE DO

Rogue Expeditions is a unique adventure travel company that creates run-centric vacations around the world. Our itineraries are designed to combine authentic, off-the-beaten-track travel experiences with organized, supported daily runs in unforgettable places, and to accommodate all levels. Put more simply, we are adventure travel for runners!

WHERE WE GO

We take runners to Morocco (Gorges & Sahara, The Atlas Mountains & Endurance Adventure), Kenya, Ireland (Run Ireland & Endurance Adventure), Patagonia, Slovenia & Croatia, South Africa, CanadaLake Tahoe and Bend, Oregon, and nearly always have new ideas in the works.

HOW IT WORKS

We don't focus on races, but instead seek out the most epic runs, the best sights and the most unique travel experiences to create destination running vacations unlike any other. The longer international trips are expedition-style, traveling to a new area each day, while our shorter US-based trips feature a home base format with a brand new area trail or route planned each day.

Runners can expect small groups, expert guides, unique, comfortable accommodation, amazing meals, daily run options to suit all levels and the opportunity to get up close and personal with the destination and its people, resulting in experiences, connections and memories that last a lifetime.

WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2012 after a chance meeting in Morocco, we started leading running trips before running trips were a "thing." Today we are a small Austin-based company creating BIG experiences all around the world - read our story for more and meet our awesome team here.

WHO CAN GO

You can! Our trips are (really!) designed to accommodate all levels of runners, from beginners to marathoners and everyone in between. We get couples, groups of friends and a lot of solo travelers joining us. Go big or take it nice and easy - this is your runcation.

OCTOBER 20-26, 2019 Nope, it’s not all about the desert! We are heading to Morocco to run and explore one of the most inspiring & dramatic landscapes that the kingdom has to offer: the High Atlas mountains. On a clear day these snow-capped peaks can be seen from Marrakech, but you’ve got to get in (and on!) them to truly experience the grandeur. Get ready to run the quiet dirt roads & single track trails that wind through the foothills and across hidden valleys, race local kids as you pass through remote Berber villages (warning: you’ll probably lose), soak your legs in icy snowmelt rivers & breathe in the pine-scented air. Replenish yourself with incredibly fresh, traditional food at each and every meal, and recover each evening at beautiful family-run guesthouses featuring crisp mountain air, sweeping views from the rooftop terraces and that legendary Moroccan hospitality.
